Specific Activity Prosthetics
The overall objective of specific activity prostheses is to provide the maximum degree of independence in all activities of daily living. Upper-limb amputees depend significantly more on prosthetics and other assistive/adaptive devices, and the ability to gain further independence can be achieved with the large variety of upper limb terminal devices currently available.
These devices from TRS have been designed for a range of vocational, sports and recreational activities including tennis, cycling, gym exercises, swimming, water sports, and many more.
Solutions also include devices for daily activities, which when used in conjunction with a quick-disconnect wrist unit mean these terminal devices can be interchanged quickly.
If you are interested in specific activity prostheses, our clinic offers comprehensive care and evidence based interventions for the most suitable prosthetic treatment plan to achieve your goals and aspirations.
