Does prosthetic rehabilitation include mental health support?
Yes! Psychotherapy and well-being support are key components of our holistic rehabilitation programme, helping clients manage the emotional challenges of limb loss. Delivered by trusted professionals, sessions are private, confidential, and held on-site eliminating the need for multiple appointments in different locations.
What equipment is available in the rehabilitation studio?
Our brand-new, purpose-built rehabilitation space features walking bars, free weights, a weights bench, yoga balls, a treadmill, an electric bike, textured walking mats, and plenty of floor space for stretching and other static exercises.
Do I need a referral to access in-clinic rehabilitation?
If you are a self funder, a referral is not necessary, however, a consultation for an assessment is required to determine what treatment plan is required for rehabilitation. To arrange a consultation contact us here.
How do I prepare for my first rehabilitation appointment at LPC?
To ensure you get the most out of your appointment, please come prepared with:
- All your current prostheses
- Comfortable clothing that you can stretch and exercise in
- Water bottle
- Gym towel
- A fresh change of clothes
What facilities are available at the London Prosthetic Centre?
